March 14, 16, & 24 – Public Input for Portland’s Comprehensive Plan

There are three upcoming events in March that provide opportunities for public input into Portland’s new comprehensive plan. In addition to a Planning Board workshop and public hearing, there will be a Community Forum on March 16th. Dates, times, and locations for each are listed below, and a flyer is attached.

The draft plan is available for review on the City’s website: http://www.portlandmaine.gov/1861/11844/Draft-Comprehensive-Plan-Documents, as well as at City Hall and at all branches of Portland Public Library

Public comments, questions, suggestions are welcome and encouraged. Please send comments to portlandsplan@portlandmaine.gov.

Planning staff are happy to meet with groups interested in discussing the plan, as well. Requests for such meetings can be sent to portlandsplan@portlandmaine.gov, or you’re always free to contact me directly at cdg@portlandmaine.gov or 207-874-8608.
