Satellites, drones, traffic cameras, cell phone data—we know more about our cities and neighbors than ever before. With heaps of new data and tools at their disposal, city planners, landscape architects and citizen imagineers are increasingly equipped to propose better futures for our living landscapes. But mapping and urban planning take part in a tricky tug of war between objective data and subjective art.
