Maine Public is moving into the former Portland Public Market on Cumberland Ave. They are bringing new life to the 50,000 square foot facility, which will include new office space, 10 broadcasting and classical studios, and a large community engagement space. Significant investment was made in creating state-of-the-art facilities to be used for generations to come, and they look forward to welcoming the public into their event space venue on the second level. The project is nearing completion, and final finishes will be visible during the tour. Team members from Simons Architects and Wright-Ryan Construction will lead the group through their new space and discuss the opportunities and challenges of retrofitting in this notable Portland building.
