Beaux Arts Ball

What is a Beaux Arts Ball?

It began in the 17th century, when students at the National Academy of Architecture, Painting and Sculpture in Paris, staged epic masquerade balls at the end of their exams with elaborate costumes modeled after architectural themes that encouraged freedom of expression and social equity for the disguised.

Countless architecture institutions, foundations and schools have continued this tradition world-wide.

Since 2018, the PSA and the Maine Interior Design Association have been hosting the Beaux Arts Ball, benefiting educational programs for architecture, construction and engineering.

On hiatus since 2020, the Beaux Arts Ball is BACK! Save the date for 10/26/23! More details, including the theme and location, will be revealed soon!
